The shift has been slower than we expected and bends in the Jet stream in Europe sharper so although 18-19th showed the high pressure in the South we forecast the 2 weather periods August 20-22 & 23-27 are wetter than we expected with thundery showers which will be heavy at times in places (espec Ireland & West Britain while the S/E is sunnier).
The forecast comes back on track at end of August with Higher Pressure and NE’ly flow we expected looks set to arrive at the start of September.
