Britain's freezing weather could continue until mid-April, with no sign of summer in sight and the temperatures set to dip to -3C over the coming days.
The South West may start to get warmer after Easter, but it could take until mid-April for better weather elsewhere, the Met Office said. The news comes as it emerged an office worker was found dead after collapsing in the snow on the way home from a pub - in the second death of its kind within hours.
