URGENT STORM SURGE WARNINGS ** NOVEMBER 2008 30day FULL DETAILED Forecast with maps & graphs forecast
Dear Hilary,
You have doubtless heard of our WeatherAction 'Red weather periods' warning of the risk of wind damage and storm surges at various times this month.
I am writing now because the short range standard meteorology forecasts appear to be confirming our concerns, and we expect solar factors will enhance frontal activity and wind strengths in the period 'around 12th to 14th' November, eg from 11th. This spells the possibility of serious situations so we urge you to ensure there are proper preparations.

We are making this month's forecast feely available from 10th Nov via Co2sceptics.com because of the high interest and risk of extreme events this month.
This forecast pdf includes two Red Warning periods and other severe weather periods [with % confidences and approx ranges of likely top winds]
which will be expressed by extreme weather events in Ireland, Britain, parts of Europe and extra storm and rain / flood events in various parts of the world in around simultaneous periods. The information has been made available to appropriate government authorities.
The two most extreme event periods in England in October were forecast by WeatherAction - see report in the pdf.
This publication anticipates the usual baseless claims or innuendo in some media that will appear that these extreme events are something to do with mankind's Co2 whereas they are in fact a consequence of forecastable solar particle-magnetic effects.
The forecast was first made 9months ago and this 30day ahead update is similar to the 9month ahead detail but with extra information, extra detail, graphs & maps.
This is identical to the already issued 45day ahead in the first three weather periods and very similar or the same in the following 7 weather periods this month. Some more considerations are included concerning the potential threats to coastal defences in the 'Red Warning' weather periods.

In a recent article from Norfolk Eastern Daily Press
Flood surge: one year on, Ed Foss mentions that the local community could face a problem if such an event happened again. Ed goes on to say: -
The row over the sirens has gathered pace since the events of November 9, 2007. While attention on the night focussed almost exclusively on Yarmouth's near miss, one of the greatest criticisms the following day was the silence of the flood sirens at Walcott, where the surge hit hard.
The irony is that in the past 10 days Piers Corbyn from WeatherAction has mentioned the possibility of such an event taking place for the second time,
