In the news link from Paradise Post Warming crowd fears real debate
there is a Global Temperature data summary from the Hadley Center.
China is reported as to having its coldest winter in 50 years and North America has had its heaviest snow cover for the same period. There are also reports of record levels of ice in the Antarctic sea and recordings of record cold temperatures in Minnesota, Texas, Florida, Mexico, Australia, Iran, Greece, South Africa, Greenland, Argentina, and Chili.
The article then quotes from the Hadley Scientists: -
"All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASA's, GISS, UAH, and RSS) have released updated figures showing, 'over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously,'"
We're only talking about a single year, here. Temperatures at this time are doing what temperatures have always been doing - they go down.
The Hadley Center then says
"Scientists quoted in a Daily Tech article link this cooling to reduced solar activity they say is a much larger driver of climate change than man-made greenhouse gasses. The dramatic cooling seen in just 12 months time enhances that position."
It goes without saying this latest cooling data, is not finding its way into the so-called mainstream media, as it will confuse those who think the world is getting hotter due to "Man Made Climate Change"
However the Hadley Center does report that warming similar to that experienced during the Medieval Climatic Optimum would not a bad thing. They then say that Agriculture experienced record yields during that early time. Corresponding cooling events such as the "Little Ice Age," though were uniformly bad news.
Is the Hadley Center hinting that global cooling could be far more disastrous than global warming?
A very good point was made in the Paradise Post: -
What should be irritating to all of us is the lack of reporting on new temperature data by the mainstream press. They were filing tons of stories on global warming, but when information from reliable institutions shows something different, they just drop the issue, and went about looking for something else to cause panic.
I think they put that very well!
