Subject: Data Quality issues
Please find two documents attached to this email.
The files contain Upper Air sounding data for Station 70273 PANC
File "uwyo.txt" data was obtained from
File "noaa.txt" obtained from
As a University Professor using this data for a project, I probably will need to understand and explain the differences between the two data sets; i.e., why the parameter value difference between the two data sets for the first level? The UWYO data starts at the elevation of the site but the noaa data starts 5 meters (45m elevation) above, although the values are the same as the first level of the UWYO starting at 40 meters.
