Hundreds flock to the ski slopes on May Day - pressandjournal.co.uk - HUNDREDS of skiers hit the slopes yesterday as May’s unseasonal cold snap brought a boost to one of the Highlands’ top snow-sports areas.
Recent heavy snowfalls and excellent conditions saw 800 visitors flock to the Cairngorms – taking the total visitors for the holiday weekend to 2,500.
