London will enjoy one more day of sunshine before storm clouds gather ahead of the Jubilee weekend, the Met Office said today.
Temperatures are expected to remain in the 20s - although come Saturday they will see them dipping and the weather getting slightly cooler.
The capital could also see thunderstorms, but forecasters predict a dry and bright Bank Holiday weekend that will comfortably beat the 16C average for this time of year.
A Met Office forecaster said: “Thursday will see temperatures closer to normal, but it will become drier and brighter towards the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.”
The warm weather is good news for the huge outdoor celebrations taking place over the four-day Jubilee weekend.
