I am writing as a practicing scientist and Climate Realist, who believes in the evidence-based accountable scientific and political process, to ask you and other MPs to consider three grave matters concerning the Climate Change Bill due for Report Stage and Third Reading on 28th Oct 2008.

October 24 was U.N. day, celebrated by many as the birthday of the United Nations. In its 63 years of operation, it has spent untold billions of dollars in its quest to create global governance.
Its goal is almost in its grasp. European leaders are pushing for a summit meeting with President Bush to create a new global “central bank,” with the authority to control global monetary policy in much the same way U.S. monetary policy is controlled by the Federal Reserve.

Letter: Problem with global warming politics

I believe Cayman Islanders and their elected representatives ought to be very careful in assessing the threats being bandied about regarding climate change. The problem with the global warming political movement is that scientific evidence refutes human – caused global climate change is either being ignored or buried.

Pay farmers green tax
FARMERS should be paid or given green tax breaks to encourage them to turn their fields into woodlands in the fight against climate change, a leading environmental body has said. Natural England wants to double the amount of "wild" land in the region from the current nine per cent to around 20 per cent over the next few years to help slow global warming and prevent flooding caused by heavier rainfall.
