The Mail On Sunday carried the long range European weather forecast issued from Solar Weather expert Piers Corbyn of WeatherAction by Duncan Robertson. Piers comments were one of many forecasts included in this article, although there was no mention as to when his "wet" summer forecast was distributed, we can assure you that his clients had this information several months ago, the same could not be said concerning the other people and companies listed below.

Forget a few Summer showers, the UK is about to be drenched in a genuine European monsoon.

Heavy showers are expected to sweep across the country for the rest of month, according to climate experts.

Although less impressive than monsoons on the Indian subcontinent it this little-known climatic pattern has been blamed for yesterday downpours and thunder storms that caused chaos around the country.

As traffic speeds across England slowed to a crawl, thousands were left stranded at Heathrow last night after 59 flights were cancelled due to the bad weather.

Passengers trying to fly back to the UK from central Europe were also grounded due to heavy rain in central Europe.

Am I worried about man-made global warming? The answer is “no” and “yes”.

No, because the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction has come up against an “inconvenient truth”. Its research shows that since 1998 the average temperature of the planet has not risen, even though the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has continued to increase.

Yes, because the self-proclaimed consensus among scientists has detached itself from the questioning rigours of hard science and become a political cause. Those of us who dare to question the dogma of the global-warming doomsters who claim that C not only stands for carbon but also for climate catastrophe are vilified as heretics or worse as deniers.

I am happy to be branded a heretic because throughout history heretics have stood up against dogma based on the bigotry of vested interests. But I don’t like being smeared as a denier because deniers don’t believe in facts. The truth is that there are no facts that link the concentration of atmospheric carbon dioxide with imminent catastrophic global warming. Instead of facts, the advocates of man-made climate change trade in future scenarios based on complex and often unreliable computer models.

For those of you who want news of "Green Tax" issues, the Irish Independent by Anne Marie Walsh had this to say about the reality of being "Green" and Irish Airlines.

IRISH airlines have reacted angrily to a new green tax that will add an estimated €56 to the cost of a family holiday.

Aer Lingus has written to MEPs and TDs to complain that the environmental levy will be "potentially disastrous" for the Irish public.

Ryanair has also dismissed the new environmental levy that the European Commission is set to rubberstamp this week as a "scam". The proposed new charges on airlines are expected to add an extra €14.50 to the cost of a return flight.

They are designed to cut the airlines' greenhouse gas emissions. MEPS will debate the new plan, known as the emissions trading scheme, this week.

The scheme will hit all airlines to and from EU airports when it becomes law.

TAXPAYERS should ask Professor Ross Garnaut for their money back: his report is little more than a fearmongering document designed to bolster the age-old socialist agenda of wealth redistribution.

It fails from the basis of science and it fails from the basis of economics but it will, however, warm the hearts of the anti-capitalist doom merchants of Europe and inner-urban branches of the Labor Party with its prognostications.

Nostradamus would be proud.

Like all who have signed on to the view that humans are responsible for global warming, Professor Garnaut cites the IPCC's (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) projections on the rate of climate change as coming from a scientifically based consensus. This is complete rubbish.

Far from being a pollutant, man along with every animal on land, fish in the sea, and bird in the air is totally dependent on atmospheric carbon dioxide for his food supply.

Some politicians complain that the United States with only 3% of the world population uses 25% of the energy. But the clean carbon dioxide which we produce is increasing food production everywhere on earth. China, on the other hand, is building new power plants at a record rate using the abundant domestic supply of coal they have and has now passed the United States as the leading producer of carbon dioxide. Although their coal has a high sulfur content, they are building the new plants without any pollution controls. The sulfur dioxide which these power plants are releasing to the atmosphere, besides smelling like rotten eggs is, in sunlight, readily converted to sulfur trioxide, the highly solublegas responsible for most acid rain.

The DailyTech by Michael Asher has found that stories concerning a Greenland meltdown is highly unlikely, recent analysis for that location shows a slowdown in ice melt.

Longest-term study yet of the continent says nothing to fear.

For global warming activists, Greenland is the most potent weapon of fear in their arsenal. With Antarctica cooling, and the floating ice at the North Pole incapable of affecting sea levels, Greenland alone can contribute the vast amounts of melted ice capable of flooding cities. Greenland -- which began gradually melting at the end of the last ice age some 20,000 years ago -- continues to slowly shed ice today.
The only problem? It's melting far too slowly. At its current rate, Greenland will take thousands of years to significantly affect sea level.

Fears have still arisen, however, over claims that melting rate is being accelerated by man-made global warming. Some past studies have indicated this may be happening, by measuring the rate at which glaciers have slid towards the sea, sped by melt water beneath lubricating the process.

While guest hosting Wednesday’s "Morning Joe", former General Electric CEO Jack Welch condemned global warming, the very theory MSNBC has been peddling for years. GE, of course, owns MSNBC; the rebuke of MSNBC’s favorite alarmist hypothesis came in a segment where hosts share noteworthy editorials. Welch decided to share an opinion piece from Tuesday’s Wall Street Journal aptly titled "Global Warming As Mass Neurosis." Welch informed the audience that the article has "a lot of technical numbers here to show you that NASA overstated what's happening." Welch summarized the article by saying "And they got an argument that states that global warming is the attack on capitalism that socialism couldn't bring"

After Jack’s synopsis, co- host Pat Buchanan interjects his belief that global warming is "a neo-Marxist idea for the transfer of wealth and power." Jack Welch jumps in to agree saying "Right" Pat Buchanan then decides to carry his rebuke even further by saying "And At the end global elites, and they’re, you know they’re gonna to dictate to all of us because of this phony idea that we're all in some eminent danger. I agree with that 100 %." Welch, the former GE CEO enthusiastically jumped in to agree saying "Absolutely!"

During 2008, have we seen many stories in the newspapers about 2007 being particularly warm as a result of global warming?
During 2006, the doomsters were predicting that 2007 would be the hottest year on record, so why have we seen no reports about this?

The answer is simple – 2007 turned out to be the coolest year for 30 years. It is also the case that there has been no global warming since 1998. In fact, since 1998, there has been steady cooling.

Even more dramatic is the fact that the most recent computer model predictions indicate that there will be no more global warming for the next ten years. But the doomsters say that, after this ten-year period, global warming will come back with a vengeance. Why?

Certainly, mankind's production of carbon dioxide (CO2) has continued to increase since 1998 and will continue to increase, particularly since countries such as China and India say that their economic growth comes first, so they do not intend worrying too much about CO2 production.

“Garnaut Report - Three Key Questions were Ignored.”

"Will the world follow our brave example or will Australia and New Zealand be left hanging like dead dingos on a barbed wire fence?"

An Australian Group of Global Warming Sceptics today claimed that the Garnaut Report had totally ignored the three key questions in the debate.

The chairman of The Carbon Sense Coalition, Mr Viv Forbes, said that the major question is a scientific one: “Have man’s emissions of CO2 caused unusual global warming or done harm to the world environment?” An increasing number of scientists all over the world are very clear on this and their answer is a resounding “NO”.

It is irresponsible for the government to get this far without having an independent enquiry on the science, a fundamental first step in a rational due diligence of this massive economic intervention.

PM Rudd and his Emissions Trading System.

Many may have seen last night's ABC 7:30 Report. (03.07.08).

The main feature of the programme was an interview with P. M. Rudd. The subject of the interview was Climate Change and the dangers of CO2.

I am flabbergasted beyond belief that we have as Prime Minister, a man so dedicated to abolishing the industry, not to mention the living standards of this entire Nation.

What he proposes is a vast social experiment with the entire nation. An experiment every bit as potentially disastrous as the Russian experiment in Communism in the last century.

It seems to me that he intends that the at present successful industries of coal, iron ore, gold, oil and gas and agriculture will pay for it all as he compensates the population for the ever increasing costs. But even that will not be enough, as he and his treasurer embark on what must become the greatest inflation in Australian history.
