The other day I mentioned that someone had put up a Twitter account for "Climate Alarmist" and that when they follow Twitter Feeds that support AGW they leave the "Scream" sign as a warning to those who follow that group or person.
Today I had an idea to do the same but in reverse of that, and to use the singular named dummy account I have had for some time for this site, "Climate Realist".
I have now selected nearly 30 Twitter Feeds to follow, so if you see "Climate Realist" following a group or person, use it as a sign of approval!
If you want to be added to the "Follow" list at the "Climate Realist" Twitter Feed, please drop me a line using the comment section below
It seems a simple enough question - yet it has baffled the best brains for at least 2,300 years.
•Aristotle agonized over it fruitlessly in the fourth century BC
•Roger Bacon in the 13th century used it to advocate the scientific method in his book Opus Majus •Another Bacon, Francis, wrote in his 1620 Novum Organum, that "slightly tepid water freezes more easily than that which is utterly cold" but could not explain why
•Descartes was defeated by it in the 17th century AD
•Even perplexed 20th and 21st century scientists and intellectuals have swarmed over it without result
I came across this Royal Society of Chemistry competition recently (from June 2012), and it took me by complete surprise, in as much, I have supported the theory of CO2 increase due to the Oceans warming. But it never has occurred to me that in doing so there may be more ice as a result of less CO2 in the Ocean. Time will tell if I am correct on this, but as of today, and at the end of Summer in the Arctic, the warmer currents may have released more CO2 (inc. water vapour) from the ocean and in doing so, bring MORE ICE NOT LESS (and even MORE SNOW)...more to follow.....meanwhile take a look at this from the RSC.

An eloquent experiment by geologist Tom Segalstad, dramatic proof of the rapid absorption of CO2 by water. The calcium carbonate touch is inspired! AS CO2 Experiment Video
This video shows that a candle floating on water, burning in the air inside a glass, converts the oxygen in the air to CO2. The water rises in the glass because the CO2, which replaced the oxygen, is quickly dissolved in the water. The water contains calcium ions Ca++, because we initially dissolved calcium hydroxide Ca(OH)2 in the water. The CO2 produced during oxygen burning reacts with the calcium ions to produce solid calcium carbonate CaCO3, which is easily visible as a whitening of the water when we switch on a flashlight. This little kitchen experiment demonstrates the inorganic carbon cycle in nature. The oceans take out our anthropogenic CO2 gas by quickly dissolving it as bicarbonate HCO3-, which in turn forms solid calcium carbonate either organically in calcareous organisms or precipitates inorganically.
Make no error that I stand in awe of all of you who can make complex calculations. This is my contribution to empirical evidence about the absolute non-existent atmospheric effect "making the earth warmer than it would otherwise be".
Where do the climate clowns get the energy from to "force" carbon dioxide to make the air warmer?! Not even by 0.00001°C is possible, based on known physics.
SIMPLE SIMON ASKS: WHERE IS THE GREENHOUSE EFFECT IN OPEN AIR?
We received the following email concerning a problem in ordering "Climate Denier" books from Amazon UK. If any of you can contact Amazon UK and find out why they do not stock these books we would like to know
Something needs to be done urgently about the unavailability of skeptical climate change books in the UK. By contrast Amazon.com has dozens of books on the subject and the global warming scam.
Why cant these books be available in the UK? I had to order mine from Amazon in the US yet I live in the UK. I have ordered two books "The Deniers" and "The Global Warming Hoax" from Amazon.com
It is taking three months before they I arrive. Most of the other books on climate on the Amazon web site are only published in the US.
