The earthquake that devastated the Emilia these days certainly is occupying more space in the first pages of our newspaper, but by looking at the weather conditions that lie ahead for the next day, we can not avoid also dwell on the weather forecast, even important for earthquake-hit areas where relief efforts are ongoing to the people.

The deterioration we are talking about for days, scheduled for early June, is now confirmed and we can already frame the situation for the medium term will see a deterioration of the time especially in the center / north and especially in the areas of alpine and north where we will be termoconvettivi temporal, frontal and prefrontal, and then especially between the 3rd and 4th of June.

Weather Forecast: still a lot of bad weather at the center / north and the south will enjoy the summer by Peppe Caridi

The synoptic map of the British model ECMWF for Friday, June 1

We are now in the second phase of the spring, one in which the differences are enhanced thermal and climatic Italy: while, in fact, early in the spring season can happen more often that the temperatures of the interior of the Central / Northern exceed even of 10/15 ° C, compared to those of the south coast, is now increasingly rare, however, suggests the opposite scenario with sunshine and warm to the south while the north and rain is much cooler.

And this is the climate that we expect in the coming days, especially at the beginning of June, probably for the first half of the month: rain, thunderstorms and temperatures below average in the center / north, with abundant rainfall accumulations and temperatures that will hardly exceed +20 ° C during the day while the sun shines to the south and it will be hot, with peaks higher than +30 ° C. Still lots of snow will fall on the Alps, while in Calabria and Sicily will start gremirsi beaches ...

Will this weekend's Jubilee celebrations be a wash-out? London to see thunderstorms after heatwave by Jack Rivlin and Lamiat Sabin: Updated by Piers Corbyn
Monday, May 28th 2012, 10:21 AM EDT
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Image AttachmentLondon will enjoy one more day of sunshine before storm clouds gather ahead of the Jubilee weekend, the Met Office said today.

Temperatures are expected to remain in the 20s - although come Saturday they will see them dipping and the weather getting slightly cooler.

The capital could also see thunderstorms, but forecasters predict a dry and bright Bank Holiday weekend that will comfortably beat the 16C average for this time of year.

A Met Office forecaster said: “Thursday will see temperatures closer to normal, but it will become drier and brighter towards the Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend.”

The warm weather is good news for the huge outdoor celebrations taking place over the four-day Jubilee weekend.

Have weather patterns reverted to normal? "NO" Says Piers Corbyn

The Express Tue 22 May. carried a Hot Summer to Break new Records - article without this time allowing comment. Without stating anything about our WeatherAction forecast I would say such a claim is baseless misleading delusional nonsense from people who have no track record of skill (or have a record of the opposite of skill). One part says:

According to Weather Services International, a "pressure blocking” system which caused recent summers to be cool and wet has now moved away. Chief meteorologist Dr Todd Crawford said: "The past four summers have been fairly wet and cool across the UK. This was driven by extreme levels of North Atlantic pressure blocking, as seen in summers 2007-11, but that pattern has now seemingly ended.

I suggest Its time for a reality check for WSI and all. Just look at the Pressure chart for 3 days away - Even if only roughly right THAT still has Jet stream (track of Lows) way to the South - forced down now by a firm Scandinavian High - continuing the type of Jet Stream South ('JSS') pattern in our long range Euromaps pressure patterns. Of course things may eventually change but have WSI, Netweather (yes the ones who had so much to say against our overall May forecast and went very quiet as it turned cold) and others ANY basis for their summer claim?

Weather Authority Expects Best Chance for Significant Heat in First Half of Summer with Increasing Likelihood of Broad-Based, Below-Normal Temps as Summer Progresses

Andover, MA, May 21, 2012 — WSI (Weather Services International) expects temperatures for the upcoming period (June-August) to average higher than normal across the Nordic region, UK, and the northern mainland, with below-normal temperatures confined to the Southeast.

“The last few summers have all been characterized by very warm, dry weather across much of eastern and southern Europe with relatively cool and wet conditions across the UK and western parts of the mainland and Nordic region,” said WSI Chief Meteorologist Dr. Todd Crawford. “This pattern has been driven by extreme levels of North Atlantic blocking, which we do not expect to occur again this summer.

Coldest May Latest: Front Page News: Jonathan Powell changes like the weather!: Updated by Piers Corbyn

These two Front Page Headline articles from the Daily Express by Nathan Rao only have a few days between them....this is what Jonathan Powell had to say about HIS May forecast on the Daily Express on the 15th May "It looks like this is going to continue well into June. Summer is really on hold, with no sign of it in the near future... and on the right also by Nathan Rao from the Daily Express on the 19th MayJonathan Powell had this to say.. “We will get a glimpse of summer next week with temperatures reaching 73F in the South.

It's little wonder people don't take longe range weather forecast seriously....I can't help but think if being a long range weather forecaster saying cold one day and then hot another is such a difficult thing to that why the Daily Express promote him and is that why Jonathan Powell's Positive Weather service stopped last year only to start again this year as Jonathan Powell Vantage Weather Services?

Jonathan Powell went on to say the following about the rest of May and the Summer in the UK
Why have the UK Environment Agency NOT contacted Piers Corbyn about the Drought Forecast part 2

The latest news reports about the expected UK drought paints a picture of a long term dry period that will last until at least Christmas - BBC News link

First question is "how can the Environment Agency know this long range projection for the remainder of the year" without any consultation with the worlds leading long range weather forecaster Piers Corbyn!

The Met Office have given up long range weather forecasts and only produce a monthly report! So who is giving the forecast of a drought until Christmas?

If word ever gets around that Piers Corbyn company ( who specializes in long range weather forecasts was not used or consulted in this matter, and that for the past few Summers and Winters have been extremely accurate with their advise to clients with long range weather forecasts and that it would have softened the impact of the drought order for the UK, heads will roll!

Questions will have to be asked as to why Piers's company was not used in this long range forecast that is now to continue until at least Christmas.

The people in the UK (an estimate of 32 million) in the drought region (above) would appear not to have been given best advise on this issue, all because Piers Corbyn does not support "Man Made" climate change and also does not agree with the way the Met Office calculate long range weather forecasts.

The below article was produced in February by John O'Sullivan and contains some relevant comments with this in mind...GR
UK Households face hosepipe ban throughout summer no matter how much it rains by Emma Reynolds
Monday, April 2nd 2012, 6:30 AM EDT
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Households face a hosepipe ban throughout the entire summer, no matter how much it rains, water companies warned yesterday.

The restrictions come into place this week and will continue until at least October in southern England and London, as any rainfall from now on is unlikely to replenish reservoirs.

The news comes just four days after inflation-busting water bill increases for millions of customers

Most of Britain is now affected by a drought, following extremely low rainfall over the past few months.

Experts say that any rain from this point onwards will probably evaporate in the higher summer temperatures or be absorbed by soil and growing vegetation

The restriction will hit around 20million homes, as seven water companies will begin enforcing the ban from Thursday.

Get ready for a final push from the "Climate Alarmists" to blame "Climate Realists" on the UK Drought and Water Shortage

England Faces Serve Drought Similar To 1976 Drought - YouTube Link

ENGLAND faces a serve drought similar to that of 1976, which left the taps almost dry..

Uploaded by newsoftheglobe on Feb 22, 2012

The above YouTube and comments posted in February this year displays some images from the UK hot summer of 1976 showing people collecting water in buckets and signs placed from water companies to save water.

So far the historic data and reasoning is that 2012 will again be another very dry year for the South of England and we will again see similar images and warnings, but with one big difference, if I am not mistaken, and that is a full assault on the "Climate Realists" who have stood up to the "man made" climate change industry.

The message against us will be something like...."man made" co2 is responsible for the UK drought and water shortage and if we don't do something now we will expect more of the will also be put forward as further proof that the world is heating up, and they told us so.... etc.
Christopher Booker: Water: why we are paying more and getting less
Saturday, March 17th 2012, 5:20 PM EDT
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Image AttachmentStorage capacity has barely increased in 20 years, though population has risen by 10 per cent.

In two weeks’ time, millions of people in southern and eastern England will face a £1,000 fine if they use a hosepipe. So, as our water bills continue to rise faster than inflation (mine has risen by 10 per cent this year), many people will get even less water for their money. But before we blame this just on the unusual winter drought, a few figures are in order.

Since our water industry was privatised 20 years ago (it is now largely foreign-owned), our total storage capacity, 520 billion gallons, has barely increased. Due to drought, our reservoirs are only 90 per cent full, a shortfall of 50 billion gallons. Yet in the Thames Water area alone, more than 50 billion gallons a year is lost in leaks – fully a third of the total that the Australian-owned company delivers to its customers.

So where have all those tens of billions of pounds that we have handed to the water companies gone, if they haven’t been spent on increasing our water storage, over a period when the population rose by 10 per cent, or on mending leaks? (In Holland, where water is still state-owned, only 6 per cent is lost in leaks.)
