Monckton: 'I have begun drafting a memorandum for prosecuting authorities...to establish...the existence of numerous specific instances of scientific or economic fraud in relation to the official 'global warming' storyline...they will act, for that is what the law requires them to do'

Making the police state work for you
By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley in London
Now that six policemen from the Norfolk and Metropolitan forces have invaded the home and “borrowed” the computers of “Tallbloke”, the first blogger in the UK to reveal the existence of the 5000 Climategate 2.0 emails, you may ask why the British police seem so much more interested in tracking down and punishing the whistle-blower/“thief” than in dealing with the many crimes by crooked IPCC “scientists” that the emails expose.
CFACT & Sen. Inhofe's press conference featured an analysis from Senator Inhofe of the prospects of a new climate treaty in the U.S. Senate and the release of Marc Morano's new report "A-Z Climate Reality Check."
UN Draft Text Demands: The West will pay 'climate debt' because of its 'historical responsibility' for causing 'global warming' -- UN seeks end to wars to 'protect the climate system'
Durban: what the media are not telling you
By Christopher Monckton of Brenchley in Durban, South Africa
DURBAN, South Africa -- “No high hopes for Durban.” “Binding treaty unlikely.” “No deal this year.” Thus ran the headlines. The profiteering UN bureaucrats here think otherwise. Their plans to establish a world government paid for by the West on the pretext of dealing with the non-problem of “global warming” are now well in hand. As usual, the mainstream media have simply not reported what is in the draft text which the 194 states parties to the UN framework convention on climate change are being asked to approve.
Behind the scenes, throughout the year since Cancun, the now-permanent bureaucrats who have made highly-profitable careers out of what they lovingly call “the process” have been beavering away at what is now a 138-page document. Its catchy title is "Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-Term Cooperative Action Under the Convention -- Update of the amalgamation of draft texts in preparation of [one imagines they mean 'for'] a comprehensive and balanced outcome to be presented to the Conference of the Parties for adoption at its seventeenth session: note by the Chair.” In plain English, these are the conclusions the bureaucracy wants.
CFACT skydivers to tow banners into UN Durban conference Lord Monckton, Craig Rucker, Climate Depot to parachute Emails exposing biased science cannot be ignored
On Tuesday, December 6 at 11:00 AM, CFACT skydivers will parachute past COP17 trailing banners demanding attention to the Climategate 2.0 emails. The skydiving team will land at Toti beach. Media and all interested persons are invited to the beach to observe the landing.
The second batch of emails from scientists working on the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change contain shocking revelations which show an insular cadre of climate scientists coordinating efforts to place advocacy ahead of science, stifle dissent, and conceal information which detracts from a preconceived, ideologically driven, global warming narrative.
Mainstream science, politics, bureaucracy, academe, banking, business, media – all were of one mind. The West, so the playbook ran, must be shut down at once to Save The Planet from “global warming”, er, “climate change”, um, “climate disruption”, no, “extreme-weather events”, ah, that is, “energy-security challenges”. Shale gas? That would solve everything. Hundreds of years’ global supply. No more peak oil. Low carbon footprint. Ban it quick.
I find myself with CFACT in Durban among the creatures of “consensus” for the annual UN climate gabfest. Yet the party line was wrong. At a recent dinner for the inconvenient economist Bjorn Lomborg in London, I first uttered the three fateful words that now fill the hearts of the world’s governing climate racketeers with dread.
“It. Isn’t. Happening.”
When I plopped these three plump pebbles into the conversation, there was a ripple of aghast silence. It was as though I’d perpetrated what the Professor of Greek at Cambridge used to call a “gaseous halation” in front of the Queen.
A domestic and science policy adviser to then-British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher in the 1980s, Monckton has become the bane of the radical environmental movement. He articulately debunks the intellectual foundation of global warming theory for the layperson.
Though former Vice President Al Gore has so far ignored Monckton’s repeated challenges to debate the science behind climate change, Monckton’s arguments have spread far and wide. A video of a 2009 speech about environmental extremists in Minnesota, for instance, attracted more than 3.5 million views on the Internet in 30 days.
Both informative and entertaining, Monckton also has experience as a businessman, architect and public speaker. Last week, he sat down with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas to discuss the dangers of the radical environmental agenda, the politicization of science by the left, what gives him hope and much more.
