I was asked the following question recently........When is the "Climate Realists" movement going to take place?

Not being short of answers on the topic of "Man Made Climate Change" I said that....er......I duno.

Is there a movement for a "Climate Protests"....yes and it's even been given a name "Climate Camp" , and we have one in England planned for our August Bank Holiday Weekend according to Met tactics under scrutiny as thousands set to attend week-long climate protest. But us Climate Realists, that's you and me, have no real agenda to get together to make a noise other then to attend a conference with the Heartland guys.

This year I noted a photo of THREE people holding up a banner In Melbourne: Big Al, Small Protest, but apart from that, oh yeah, and the Burger King Sign. I must confess I have no idea as to what is happening about the "Climate Realist" movement.

If these guys can do it so can we....join the FaceBook group Fire James Hansen and network with people who may be able to protest in your area against Al Gore and James Hansen.....

ANYONE who denies global warming is in the pay of big oil. Remember that is what the big man, Al Gore, said in his movie ‘An Inconvenient Truth’. But like so much that Mr Gore says, it just isn’t true.

Actress Daryl Hannah was arrested this afternoon in West Virginia along with NASA climatologist James Hansen, local activist Michael Brune of Rainforest Action Network, Goldman Prize winner Judy Bonds, 94-year-old former U.S. Representative Ken Hechler and more than a dozen others.

They were protesting at an elementary school threatened by a 2.8-billion-gallon coal sludge impoundment where coal dust in the air exceeds acceptable limits. Protestors trespassed on land owned by coal giant Massey Energy.

The protest is part of a string of increasingly dramatic actions objecting to the Obama Administration's announcement that the EPA will reform, but not abolish, mountaintop removal mining. Later this week, Congress will host a hearing titled, "The Impacts of Mountaintop Removal Mining on Water Quality in Appalachia."

Hannah has long been a serious environmental activist—perhaps as serious as any but Leonardo DiCaprio.

This just in, from NASA climate scientist James Hansen, in response to Massey Energy President Don Blankenship’s challenge to debate global warming, the coal industry and the West Virginia economy. I received this note from Dr. Hansen, who asked that I forward the information on to Blankenship … I’ve done that, and I’m sharing it with Coal Tattoo readers as well:

Dear Don,

Thanks for your offer to publicly discuss climate change, human-made global warming, and its implications for the coal industry in general and mountaintop removal in particular. That is an excellent suggestion. I would be glad to participate in a format that allows the public to become better acquainted with the science and its implications.

I had planned to return to a meeting in Washington immediately after the activities at your place on Tuesday, but to accommodate a public discussion, I will stay another day. I expect that we will be able to find a school auditorium that would be well-suited for presentations and discussion. I am scouting that out now and will get back to you with specific information.

Usually I spend close to an hour on a climate science discussion for the public, but I can shorten that to about 40 minutes, so that you can have a similar time to present your views, if you would like that much time. You are welcome to speak either before or after me. After we have both spoken, we can open it up for discussion with the public.

I recently sent a message to my FaceBook group Fire James Hansen concerning yet another one of his protests against "Coal" Get Arrested with James Hansen to stop MTR!

On June 23rd Dr. James Hansen, a leading climate scientists and environmental hero, will join community members in Coal River Valley, West Virginia to launch a year of activism to end mountaintop removal coal mining. Blowing the tops off of mountain ranges to harvest dirty coal harms the people and places of Appalachia, destroys the economic potential of the Appalachian Mountains for clean energy opportunities and furthers the burning of climate killing coal.

Dr. Hansen and the people of West Virginia need you and as many friends as you can muster to come to West Virginia on June 23rd to help build the wave of activism needed to stop mountaintop removal this year.

Give people a cause to fight for and they will fight for it......if you want to stir up trouble then lie and miss out detail, like FACTS! How far removed are this group then the country of some 60-70 years ago who were told by their leader that the Jews were to blame for all that was wrong.

We now have the chief NASA climate expert (Dr James Hansen) telling people that COAL is to blame for "Man Made Climate Change" as a result of this LIE we now have ANARCHY. What Next?

More than 100 people are in custody after police smashed a major plot to sabotage one of Britain's biggest power-stations.

NOAA scientists agree the risks are high, but say Hansen overstates what science can really say for sure

Speaking to a packed auditorium at the University of Colorado’s World Affairs Conference on Thursday, NASA climatologist James Hansen found a friendly audience for his argument that we face a planetary emergency thanks to global warming.

Despite the fact that the temperature rise has so far been relatively modest, “we do have a crisis,” he said.

With his characteristic under-stated manner, Hansen made a compelling case. But after speaking with two NOAA scientists today, I think Hansen put himself in a familiar position: out on a scientific limb. And after sifting through my many pages of notes from two days of immersion in climate issues, I’m as convinced as ever that journalists must be exceedingly careful not to overstate what we know for sure and what is still up for scientific debate.

Here we go again......somebody fire him! Please!!

Environmental activists will hold a day of protest this week, in an attempt to persuade the Government to drop plans for new power stations and a third runway at Heathrow Airport.

The protest, which will be led by an influential NASA scientist, comes days after an unprecedented warning to politicians from 2,500 leading scientists at last week's climate science summit in Copenhagen. They said that unless drastic action to cut carbon emissions was taken immediately, the world would face "irreversible shifts in climate".

On Monday 23rd February CO2Sceptics received an email concerning a call to "Fire James Hansen" Calls Mount for Obama to Fire NASA Climate Chief after he produced the YouTube - A Call to Action on Global Warming This was a direct attempt to incite civil disobedience in order to promote his "Man Made Climate Change" theory that has NO scientific basis.
