Dear Al Gore: When I got up one recent morning and looked at the thermometer, it read 24 degrees below zero. I looked out the window and saw snow about 18 inches deep. The radio and television were reporting record cold temperatures from Montana to New England and as far south as North Carolina. It was snowing in Chicago and they set a record for having nine consecutive days with measurable snow. Flint, Mich., broke a 95-year-old record when the temperature there this morning was 19 degrees below zero. It was 29 degrees below zero in Glenwood, Minn., with a “wind chill” of 54 degrees below.
I was having a hard time believing your global warming theory before this winter, but now I’m certain you are using it to scare people and make yourself a multi-millionaire.
I got on the Internet and found out that there are record low temperatures all around the globe. I found that sea ice is increasing rather than melting, as previously reported. More environmentalists and scientists are beginning to reject your premise that global temperatures are on the rise.
