With climate change a huge issue this election season, we should review the latest facts on the matter. In this chart, CO2 continues its rise. The global temperatures, however, have not only leveled off, they have begun to fall. This result is in line with natural climate cycle theory.
If the admission to the school of your choice, be it Cornell, or lets say Columbia or Harvard, depended on you answering this question -- "Given the facts presented in the chart above, is CO2 driving the Earth’s temperature?" -- how would you answer it?

....this should be one of the greatest, if not THE NUMBER ONE GREATEST, July to August turn arounds in temps in US history. The 16 day means of over 5 degrees C below normal seem to cold to me ( I cant believe it can be 10 below for over 2 weeks, if it is, that could be the coldest 2 week period in US history in August for the plains, though I have not looked back at all of them.

", I would think it's all part of the same "Solar Climate Change" going on....more to follow...GR

One can only marvel at the continued denial of agw proponents of the summers after the pdo flip and the first el nino that followed. In the 50s, that was 1951 a cold summer, more recently 2009, a cold summer.
A look at the Junes and Julys that followed 52-54 and 10-12
If anything 52-54 may have been warmer.. certainly the pdo is colder in this event. How one does not go back and look at this and acknowledge that the cyclical event is for more likely given the same set of large scale physical drivers, is in fact, a denial of the actual data
I have never seen something so close. As if nature is loudly trying to tell us something

The argument that global warming is causing more extreme weather is problematic because it presumes the globe is warming.
In fact, the global temperature trend line has been stable for more than a dozen years, while carbon dioxide has increased 7%. If CO2 was the driver, then why have global temperatures stopped increasing?
Keep in mind that CO2 represents 0.0395 percent of the Earth’s atmosphere. Arguing that CO2 is driving the small temperature variations in our climate as opposed to the oceans, which cover 70 percent of the planet and have 1,000 times the heat capacity of air, or the output of our sun, is scientifically disturbing.
Weather is more publicized nowadays because of its impact on society and the constant push of the global warming agenda. Increases in population result in more people being in the path of Mother Nature’s fury.

A rebuttal to Weather Underground statement
“In the last 35 years of global warming, sun and climate have been going in opposite directions.”
First of all, Dr Jeff Masters, as a PHD in METEOROLOGY and someone running a business, is someone is naturally have respect for. You don’t accomplish what he has without having to face an overcome challenges. So I look at this differently than some of the ignorant or deceptive missives from others I have challenged before on this site, many from the climatologists that make statements that show me they don’t look at the weather.
Lets look at the last 400 years of sunspot cycle
