You Could Not Make It Up: Siberian cold likely to bring sub-zero temperatures and snow by Paul Simons: Updated by Piers Corbyn & Stephen Wilde

Image AttachmentThe following extract COULD run into trouble for the MET OFFICE, they are quoted as saying that they can predict weather months in advance, and yet they DID NOT MENTION THIS FORECAST LAST WEEK!!!

Unlike the earlier part of winter, though, this next freeze was forecast by the Met Office months ago, thanks to an extraordinary chain reaction in the atmosphere across the globe.

The story begins with El Niño, the big warming of tropical seas under way in the Pacific. So much hot air soared up from the Pacific it punched through into the stratosphere and dislocated winds 20-50km high.

On January 20 this colossal jolt sent unusually warm air flooding into the stratosphere over the Arctic, where temperatures in the stratosphere soared by 40C in just a few days. The intensely cold stratosphere air normally over the Arctic was shunted over Europe instead. Eventually that cold stratosphere rippled down into the lower atmosphere, flipping our winds from west to east — and easterly winds in winter usually give us our coldest weather.

When Governments hide information for 70 years

For those of you who think that Governments tell the truth and that they are above suspicion the Dr. David Kelly story (LINK)says it all.

I have reported on "Climate Realists" stories with an open mind for nearly two years, sure I am bias when it comes to the stupidity of AGW, but I do not simply report that "Climate Realists" have all the answers and that AGW has nothing to offer, in that, I fully support the recycling of waste to help the Earth's resources. My personal view on what has gone on in Government regarding "Climate Change" is that a decision was made to drive through policy based on all known data at the time to save the world from heating up due to mans emissions from industrialization.

George Monbiot of The Guardian get's dirty about Christopher Booker from The Telegraph, and then goes for broke to help save the world from Climate Realists

Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
The gloves have come off for the battle of the UK climate reporters.

"Climate Alarmist" George Monbiot is openly seen to throw a few punches below the belt as he gets angry not with just our very own "Climate Realist" Christopher Booker but the entire Climate Realist industry.

When people get this abusive you know they have lost, not just with the fight to promote the alarmists nonsense of "Man Made Climate Change" but they have also lost control of their senses.

Many congrats to Christopher Booker (MUST READ: The Real Global warming Disaster) as outright "Climate Realist" champion, and to those of you who got the full wroth from "Disaster George" well done, we would have not gone this far without you.

I can only say to the Editor of the Guardian, please jump ship before you drown, or simply remove the alarmist who is pulling you down.

Piers Corbyn Winter 2009/10 forecast finds it way into the UK Sports Section
Saturday, January 16th 2010, 8:37 AM EST
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
It would seem even the UK Sport section have taken on board Piers Corbyn Winter forecast......This could be a first, as the Met Office push him to one side as a crank!

Racing facing yet another freeze in this winter of discontent for the sport by Marcus Townend, Daily Mail

Twelve blank days for jump racing ends on Saturday but a long-range forecaster who predicted the January snow back in July believes it will only be a brief respite for the sport.

The forecasts of Piers Corbyn, who runs weatheraction.com, will fill trainers preparing Cheltenham Festival prospects with dread.

Kempton and Huntingdon, providing the latter survives an 8am inspection, race, Ffos Las on Sunday and the outlook is optimistic for Fakenham and Plumpton on Monday.

The media have started to question the Met Office daily forecast, this article from The Telegraph summed up a very poor forecast... The Met Office has admitted that it failed to warn the public of the heavy snow that brought swaths of Britain to a standstill on Wednesday.

Reply To Article from Lord Monckton: The climate change sceptic's Q&A by Fred Pearce of the New Scientist

Many thanks to Lord Monckton for the reply to You Could Not Make It Up: The climate change sceptic's Q&A by Fred Pearce of the New Scientist.... I made the following comment at the time......This is what I call plain stupid, we have an AGW supporter giving answers on our behalf. No wonder the public are confused about what is going on, why not have a Climate Realists giving answers to questions for AGW!

Knocking down the extremists who set up straw men

The Daily Telegraph, on 8 December 2009, produced what it called the “Climate Skeptic’s Q&A”, a piece written by Fred Pearce, a long-standing environmental extremist campaigner on the climate question. There was no attempt in the piece to produce balanced or scientifically-accurate answers. A reader has sent the “Q&A” to us and has asked us to put matters to rights. Mr. Pearce’s “straw-man” questions are in bold face; his answers are in italics, and my comments are in Roman face.

Arctic roots of 'upside-down' weather by Richard Black, BBC

Richard Black an environment correspondent for the BBC News website, takes the easy way out on his Earth Watch blog with the current cold weather and goes on about how the world is warm in other locations.

Richard can also be seen to be running into problems in the comments section of this article as people have reminded him about the Winter Forecast made by Piers Corbyn at the Climate Fools Day conference that he had attended (see below)

You Could Not Make It Up: CO2 unleashes more warming than thought
Tuesday, December 29th 2009, 9:47 AM EST
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Although this article is a few weeks old, you should take note that just before the Copenhagen Conference a NEW study was issued to show an even worse effect of "global warming" and CO2..........these guy's tried everything in the book to persuade delegates to come to an agreement.......this so called "scientific" study should be seen as a blatant use of scare tactics, and undermines the entire "Man Made CO2 industry".

Carbon dioxide indirectly causes up to 50 percent more global warming than originally thought, a finding that raises questions over targets for stabilising carbon emissions over the long term, a study said on Sunday.

In a paper published in the journal Nature Geoscience, British scientists said a tool commonly used in climate modelling may have badly underlooked the sensitivity of key natural processes to the warming caused by CO2.

As a result, calculations for man-made global warming on the basis of carbon emissions may be underpitched by between 30 and 50 percent, they said.

You Could Not Make It Up: Gather: The Well Disarmed Skeptic - How Climate Change Denialists Use Front Groups to Lie About the Science
Sunday, December 27th 2009, 6:11 AM EST
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Climate denialists like to argue that they are "well armed" to deny the overwhelming scientific consensus on climate change. And in some respects they are, because these non-science free market lobbying groups have a long history of setting up fake front organizations and now blogger networks to saturate the public domain with intentional misinformation. They did it to deny that smoking caused cancer, that CFCs affected the ozone hole, that smokestacks in Ohio caused acid rain in New England, and that killer smogs were the result of pollution. In all cases the denialists were wrong, the scientists were right, and policy-makers finally made decisions that helped to fix the problems. In fact, some of the current climate change denialists are the very same people and lobbying groups that denied the earlier science.

Some of the recent articles here on Gather have suggested the following as sources of denialist misinformation. Too bad they aren't scientific at all.....

Click source to read FULL article from GATHER........these are strange times, the supporters of AGW are in freefall and this article shows how desperate things have become. It's a shame that we are unable to leave a comment on this article, maybe they would like to leave a comment on our site to support their views. The FACT is AGW is a FAILED science and those who should know better are staying to the end to produce this kind of rubbish!

You Could Not Make It Up: Deniergate: Turning the tables on climate sceptics, New Scientist
Tuesday, December 15th 2009, 5:13 AM EST
Co2sceptic (Site Admin)
Image AttachmentPicture of Non Scientist from JoanneNova.com article

The New Scientist is making a stand for AGW, like several other so called Scientific media, they are not going down without a fight. The following article goes on to try and discredit REAL SCIENCE in the hope they prop up the FAILED SCIENCE of "Man Made Climate Change". These are very strange times we live in, it must have been similar 150 years ago when Darwin raised the question of evolution and the church went into denial, here we see a similar situation........it can't be long before this SHAM is over, can it?

"Climategate" has put scientists on trial in the court of public opinion. If you believe climate sceptics, a huge body of evidence involving the work of tens of thousands of scientists over more than a century should be thrown out on the basis of the alleged misconduct of a handful of researchers, even though nothing in the hacked emails has been shown to undermine any of the scientific conclusions.

If we are going to judge the truth of claims on the behaviour of those making them, it seems only fair to look at the behaviour of a few of those questioning the scientific consensus. There are many similar examples we did not include. We leave readers to draw their own conclusions about who to trust.

I will continue to be responsible with the resources of the Earth.
It would make no difference to the Earths resources if we did not recycle household waste.
I'm confused and only recycle to save the world from "Man Made Climate Change."
