It's only day three of this running commentary for the "live" Solar Climate Change experiment, and yet it feels longer as I used the run up to show how much warning the Met Office produced in advance (the severe weather warning from the Met Office came hours and not days before the event and shows how fast these Solar Climate Changes take hold). Today, 11th July, contains the "New Moon" influence so there is a brief halt to events and we are all set for go again on Monday.
An earlier forecast from the "Weather Channel" for Monday gave the South East of England with heavy rain and torrential downpours, this has now changed to light showers. The UK did have some heavy rain on Saturday in Northern Ireland and Scotland, but I did not see a major headline story to follow with this report.
Heavy rains cause flash floods in greater Boston area
CNN) -- Heavy rains caused flash flooding across the Boston metro area Saturday, stranding cars and causing damage, the National Weather Service reported.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Flash flood warnings were issued for four counties in eastern Massachusetts, and 2 to 4 inches of rain fell in the region, according to the weather service.
There were several reports of cars getting stuck in floodwaters, particularly in the Somerville area, northwest of Boston, where the weather service said at least five vehicles were stranded underneath the Assembly Square Underpass.
