Just when we thought there were just two issues the AGW media could manipulate with the general public, reporting it was warmer when it is cooler and spreading "panic and anxiety" with levels of CO2, along comes a flock of geese! And the reason this flock of geese appears in the AGW media, is that they would not have been there if it was not for "Man Made Climate Change," read on....
It didn't take long for the warmists to blame the US Airways crash on global warming, which is, after all, deemed responsible for anything bad. Time Magazine, which was once widely read..

As the title suggests from the Huffington Post by Kevin Grandia, CO2Sceptics are starting to make waves, and as you will see, these guys are not taking it very well. Normally we highlight such quotations from the other side of the fence in GREEN but this time it's good news for CO2Sceptics so it's BOLD RED.
"Opinion polls conducted in the United States over the last year confirm the upward trend in people who believe that global warming is not caused by human activity. One series of polls conducted by Rasmussen Reports found that between April and December, 2008 the number of respondents who attributed global warming to "long term planetary trends" and not human activity increased from 34 percent to 43 percent."

If you have not seen the BBC video of Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization Michel Jarraud
then here is his logic on how the weather works, or more to the point how global warming does and does not work.
He says average global surface temperatures have climbed significantly since 1850, when historical weather statistics were first recorded. "Global warming will mean that heat waves like the one we got in Western Europe in 2003 will become more frequent. But, it does not mean that the 2003 heat wave was produced by global warming ... Last year, we know that part of the relative cooling was due to the La Nina phenomena, which was moderate to strong in the first part of 2008. Then in the second part of 2008, it became closer to what we call neutral condition. Now, it is a little bit unclear what will happen this year," he said.

So here is the third style of AGW media reporting, "panic & anxiety". We guess that if the media are not giving out awards to Hansen or reporting it's getting warmer when it's cooler they will continue with "we are going to fry if the level of CO2 is not reduced by 2050". When we set up CO2Sceptics.Com in March 2008, the idea that the media could be split into two areas, rational reporting or suffering from "Climate Cognitive Dissonance" had not hit our radar. As time has gone on and the Sun has given up its 50-60 year active phase and gone into it's new "Calm Sun" period, it's become clear how much the media are part of the problem. We make no excuse to say how closed minded the BBC are in their reporting of the CO2 Sceptic side of the coin, and warn BBC followers that what is reported as "fact" is in fact a forecast based on non-scientific evidence.

Strange times ahead for all of us CO2Sceptics, the AGW Media will continue to mention that it's warm when it's cool and no doubt this story is just another example of boosting credibility to the "Man Made Climate Change" industry. The keyholder to the Temperatures data, Hansen, has just been given a top honour award from the American Meteorological Society. We cant help feel this is just for show in light of the Climate Cooling, sooner or later, as they say, "truth will out".

We came across this article from the BBC and expected to see a weather forecast, instead the BBC has gone out of their way to show you a video from the WMO. The WMO say that although we have snow the world is getting warmer. You could not make that up, OK, you could but these are desperate times for the AGW media, and putting up a video from the WMO says it all...look out for the guy in swimming trunks walking in the snow, it's a symbolic attempt to say it's not that cold.
The head of the World Meteorological Organisation has said that global warming does not mean the end of snow. Secretary-General Michel Jarraud, stressed that Europe's current harsh winter could not hide the fact of a rise in global temperatures. He added that this would lead to snow and cold winters becoming more infrequent, but they would not disappear.

You can always tell when you have AGW media, they report warming when the world is cooling......the BBC have the following to say about the food shortage from the coming HEAT in 2100 (and it must be true as they have used 23 climate models!).
Half the world's population could face a climate-induced food crisis by 2100, a new report by US scientists warns. Rapid warming is likely to reduce crop yields in the tropics and subtropics, according to Prof David Battisti of the University of Washington, Seattle. The most extreme summers of the last century will become the norm, he calculates, using 23 climate models.

During the past two years the Sun has had, and is still having, it's lowest sun spot count for 100 years
, and that is after the highest count of sun spots, since they started to count them way back in 1611
, from 1950 to 2002. The WMO have not mentioned this as a contributing factor in the wake of the major cold snap we are having in the following article, UN agency blames La Nina for Europe's shivers

Many thanks to the TomNelson BlogSpot
for this link to the GoreLied
The link to YourTube just shows how the reporting of world temperatures is nothing new from record cold to record heat, the media have always whipped up a story to increase their readership. The only difference today, is that some of the media actually believe the stories themselves!

We recently entered a poll on how the media will report warming when it's cooler! Have the media started to be more logical on the reporting of a cooler climate.
The result was a resounding 85% in the anticipation of the AGW media to continue in its "Climate Cognitive Dissonance" and sadly the journalists for Reuters have remained firmly entrenched with the view that "Man Made Climate Change" exists and therefore they will continue to report warming when we have cooling!
GENEVA (Reuters) - It might feel cold in Europe but the world is getting hotter and global warming remains a danger, the United Nations weather agency WMO said Friday. "The Secretary-General of the World Meteorological Organization, Michel Jarraud, has stressed that we mustn't confuse the current weather that we're seeing with global warming," WMO spokeswoman Gaelle Sevenier told a news briefing.
