Friends
Ken and I have had many requests to meet with TWTW readers and hold a discussion on the science and politics of the GW issue. Needless to say, we are very open to this idea and would propose to start here in the DC area in January, continue in Florida, Texas, California in Feb, in NY and New England in March, and in Ohio/Chicago/Denver in May.
So -- a show of hands. Can you attend a conference on Saturday, Jan 10, 10AM to Noon, at the Marriott Gateway Hotel in Arlington, VA? It's right at the Crystal City Metro stop (Blue and Yellow line) and there is also plenty of free parking. Pls send me yr acceptance BEFORE Jan 2, and I will announce details in TWTW of Jan 3.
Thank you -- and I look fwd to meeting many of you .
Best for 2009! Fred.

I know it’s a tough job – but let’s just check the International Panel on Climate Changes (IPCC) iconic, widely-quoted conclusion* and parse its meaning:
“Most of the observed increase in globally-averaged temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in anthropogenic GHG concentrations.”
