I already said that Monckton did not talk about thickness and thickness is just a bunch of BS along with an attempt to redirect the issue to another meaningless measurement. There is no current reliable historic record of thickness and volume. This is just as FUDDLE Minded as making some claim about historic sea surface temperatures only worse because there are some historic measurements for sea temperature even though they are not surface temperatures.

You seem to "Cherry Pick" the words you want to respond to without reading or understanding what was said. Thickness would be important id there was a reliable historical record of ice thickness or volume as they are two separate things. A small amount of really thick ice would have the same volume as a larger amount of this ice. Because there is NOT an accurate historical record of ice area, extent, thickness, volume. all those measurement have no current value but wll be valuable in a couple of hundred years when there is sufficient data for comparison and to determine if any trend exists outside of natural climate variations which we are currently experiencing. You again prove your self to be a few cards short of a full deck. Have the wattage checked on your light bulb as it appears very dim from here.

That is a good joke as I am pensioned/ retired early and have no debts,Living in my own private 3500+ acre forest beside a lake In the hills of Tennessee. So unemployed would be an accurate statement and have been for 5 years with pay / pension almost equal to past wages.
