Mike Davis wrote:I already said that Monckton did not talk about thickness and thickness is just a bunch of BS along with an attempt to redirect the issue to another meaningless measurement. There is no current reliable historic record of thickness and volume. This is just as FUDDLE Minded as making some claim about historic sea surface temperatures only worse because there are some historic measurements for sea temperature even though they are not surface temperatures.

Oh my word!

Apparently, thickness of ice is not important! Hey Ravenna/Climate Realist, I hope you invited Mickey to your new forum. You could do with an extra ignoramus to compliment you two!!

You seem to "Cherry Pick" the words you want to respond to without reading or understanding what was said. Thickness would be important id there was a reliable historical record of ice thickness or volume as they are two separate things. A small amount of really thick ice would have the same volume as a larger amount of this ice. Because there is NOT an accurate historical record of ice area, extent, thickness, volume. all those measurement have no current value but wll be valuable in a couple of hundred years when there is sufficient data for comparison and to determine if any trend exists outside of natural climate variations which we are currently experiencing. You again prove your self to be a few cards short of a full deck. Have the wattage checked on your light bulb as it appears very dim from here.

I seem to have left out a minor point and that is that first we need to assure that our current measurements are reliable and the latest on that is that they are not up to necessary standards.

That is a good joke as I am pensioned/ retired early and have no debts,Living in my own private 3500+ acre forest beside a lake In the hills of Tennessee. So unemployed would be an accurate statement and have been for 5 years with pay / pension almost equal to past wages.
Let us sing a sad song for me!
Some here are not afraid to use their own names! Hint! Hint!

Some here are not afraid to use their own names!

So what IS your own name, person who admits privately that "Mike Davis" is an "AKA"?

Well Yes! I admitted privately that Mike Davis is an AKA ( Also Known As) Then followed that with the punch line you failed to comprehend. I have been called Mike since early childhood!!! GET IT? GET IT???? I was born Michael but have been called Mike most of my life. You are DIM witted! :o :o :o :o
I realize now that you have admitted you live on the Left Coast why you have the Name you go by. It was an old practice to observe a child to see what characteristics they displayed before naming them. When you displayed the mentality of a Gorilla you received that name.
