After the "last gasp" of solar flare AR1618, I informed you on the 28th November that Tropical Storm "Bopha" may have been a "sign" of this solar event, as it was a "late season" Tropical Storm and at the time was forecast to be at least a Cat1 in the next 24 hours. As you can see from the latest chart at TropicalStormRisk.com "Bopha" has now "powered up" today to a Category 4.
On the basis that I believe a Tropical Storm "power up" (enhanced from Cat1+) is a result of solar activity rather then a "natural" event. I like to put forward what I consider to be a "plausible" case as to why this should happen and also include other events such as M6+ Earthquakes. The flaw in using Earthquake data as a guide, is that we have no idea as to the condition of the Earth's crust. If the Earth's crust is stable then the chance of a M6+ taking place is "low" when there is a forecast for any major Solar Climate Change.
According to the USGS.Gov site, the last M6+ that happened was on the 19th November, so the M6+ indicator draws a blank for this period...however going down a notch to M5.9+ I noticed the following data...

On the 29th November, a day after the "last gasp" of solar flare AR1618 there was a M5.9 Earthquake at Papua New Guinea and today (the same day as the CAT4 Typhoon "Bopha"), there is another M5.9, it's at Alaska...again....more to follow, inc. some new New Solar Flare information
