MPs need a Reality Check -
Global Warming Assumptions are false scientists warn
As MPs press the British Government to show greater commitment on Climate Change scientists today wrote to Tim Yeo MP Chair of the House Of Commons Environment Audit Committee with official data evidence that in the last decade world temperatures have fallen while carbon dioxide has risen and called on him to "explain on what evidence you base your recommendations".
The letter from astrophysicist Piers Corbyn Director of WeatherAction long range forecasters, written after consultation with other scientists, arrives before MPs today.
Piers, whose long range forecast (5 months ahead) for rainfall deluges this July in Britain and Ireland are being impressively confirmed**, commented on the reasons for the letter:
"It's time for MPs to have a reality check. That is what this letter is about. The public have a right to know on what basis £billions are spent every year in their name. I urge people to write to their own MPs with these questions too.

"MPs might believe they are saving the planet but actually they are propagating policies which benefit 'green' consultants, are ruining the world economy, and - through biofuels policies - are causing starvation and death.
"The modern Green Lobby is not the brown rice and sandals tepee people they would have us believe it is a massive world business more powerful than the tobacco, sugar, oil and nuclear lobbies combined and it is based on false science. The modern Green lobby is backed by the nuclear industry, the oil industry (who want to make money from carbon capture++) and political parties who need 'taxation to save the planet' as an excuse to not have to implement their unworkable instinctive policies to cut taxes and the welfare state.
"It is clear that whatever may have seemed the case 10 years ago, that now, with increased data and understanding there is no evidence for the CO2 centred theory of Global Warming and consequent Climate Change, only evidence against. It is incumbent on Tim Yeo MP Chair of the Environment Audit committee to justify their recommendations with science.
"Recycling and tackling chemical and smoke pollution is a good idea but CO2 is not a pollutant and the holding back of world development in the name of false science is a bad idea. The grim reality is that after two decades of campaigning honest progressive people who wanted to do good are now imprisoned by larger interests and the world is suffering and may face an uncertain nuclear future.
"The deliberate decimation of the coal industry has exacerbated the massive rises in oil prices. Coal can be cleanly turned into diesel but that is against the new 'green religion'.
"Biofuels - the burning of food as fuel and the distortion of agriculture to grow fuel crops rather than food crops - are the main cause of the rise in world food prices and consequent starvation and death.
"Its time for a reality check to bring in only genuine green policies and save the world economy"

++ Carbon capture is the process whereby CO2 is removed from the atmosphere and eg injected into the sea bed through old oil wells or put into desert sand etc

Dear Mr Yeo,
RE: CORRELATION BETWEEN CARBON DIOXIDE AND TEMPERATURES
Following on from your Committee’s warning to the British Government regarding the need to show greater commitment to tackling Climate Change, please inform me what evidence your Committee has for carbon dioxide increases raising temperatures.
The graph above which is based on official data shows that while CO2 has risen dramatically over the last ten years world temperatures have decreased. Since there is no Global Warming arising from increased CO2 then there can be no Climate Change consequent on that supposed Global Warming.
Please explain on what evidence you base your recommendations.

Information on the graph showing world Temperatures falling while CO2 keeps rising over the last ten years.
The up-dated temperature measurements have been released by the
NASA’s Microwave Sounding Unit (MSU) [1] as well as by the UK’s Hadley Climate Research Unit (Temperature v. 3, variance adjusted - Hadley CRUT3v) [2]. In parallel, readings of atmospheric concentrations of CO2 have been released by the MaunaLoa Observatory in Hawaii [3]. They have been combined in graphical form by Joe D’Aleo [4].
These latest temperature readings represent averages of records obtained from standardized meteorological stations from around the planet, located in both urban as well as rural settings. They are augmented by satellite data, now generally accepted as ultimately authoritative, since they have a global footprint and are not easily vulnerable to manipulation nor observer error. What is also clear from the graphs is that average global temperatures have been in stasis for almost a decade and may now even be falling.
