Dissenter on Warming Expands His Campaign
By LESLIE KAUFMAN
WASHINGTON — Marc Morano does not think global warming is anything to worry about, and he brags about his confrontations with those who do.
For example, Mr. Morano said he once spotted former Vice President Al Gore on an airplane returning from a climate conference in Bali. Mr. Gore was posing for photos with well-wishers, and Mr. Morano said he had asked if he, too, could have his picture taken with Mr. Gore.
He refused, Mr. Morano said.

To Whom It May Concern at the New York Times
L.S.,
Further to an article by Leslie Kaufman, profiling Marc Morano, I wish it to be publicly known that I fully support all the work that Marc Morano does in his efforts to bring clarity and sanity to the as yet non-existent debate about the causes of either global warming or climate change.
As you may be aware, there is absolutely no actual evidence at all that mankind has any influence over the global climate nor climate change; it is all based on computer simulations.
The panic spread by the likes of Hansen, Gore, Romm et al. is despicable and driven by a desire that mirrors the zealous efforts of religious freaks.
Should you have evidence that mankind does have an effect on the global climate or be capable of affecting climate change, then please publish such evidence on your front page, so we can all stop using fossil fuels overnight, stop all economic activity, shut down all gas- and coal-fired power stations, cancel the Olympic Games and with that all other major sporting events, etc. etc.
After all, if our survival as a species really does depend on the alleged evil emissions of carbon dioxide, then drastic measures are called for.
Failure to provide the evidence referred to above would indicate that no such evidence exists and we can all carry on as usual, albeit with a slightly greater appreciation of the use of energy in all its forms, but that's another matter.
Kind regards,
Hans Schreuder
