For billions of years the Earth has experienced climate change with no human assistance. Now with our recent ability to accurately measure change we are being told that our very existence is the cause of this change. Modern society is possible only because of applied science, which is based on Laws of Physics and known properties of materials. To be valid any hypothesis must conform to this science. Reality dictates the rules.
Nuclear energy comes in two forms. Heavy elements with large atoms release large amounts of energy when broken into smaller atoms, the process of fission. Forcing smaller atoms together releases fusion energy, which the sun does constantly but which man has done so far only in Hydrogen bombs. Chemical energy can be stored in large molecules with many atoms and released thru combustion or natural decay processes.
We have the good fortune to live on a planet with the right mix of sunlight, atmosphere, liquid water and diverse mix of elements necessary for our life cycle to exist. Microscopic life forms do exist which do not have the same requirements. However, all higher, multi-celled life forms depend on the photosynthetic conversion of solar energy into chemically stored hydrocarbons. These hydrocarbons range from simple sugars to starches to cellulose. It is this conversion of atmospheric carbon dioxide, water, earth elements and sunlight that makes our lives possible. All animals exist only because there is a plant based food source for us to add our energy to in producing our proteins.

Combustion is a visible chemical reaction, which breaks these large molecular bonds, releasing energy (heat) and returning the trapped carbon dioxide and water molecules back to the atmosphere. There is a yet to be proven theory of adiabatic petroleum production. This theory proposes that the heat and pressure of the Earth’s molten mantle can combine hydrogen, oxygen and carbon atoms independent of photosynthesis. Until proven otherwise it is safe to assume that all petroleum and coal deposits are the result of geologic heat and pressure on photosynthetic produced hydrocarbons.
Our planet has two heat sources, the fusion of the sun and internal fission of nuclear reactive elements. Neither of the sources is constant and our observable weather pattern is just a manifestation of these two forces. The AGW math model assumes both of these forces constant and tries to explain weather as an atmospheric heat transfer equation. To do this the AGW makes two additional flawed assumptions. First that solar radiation is magically re-radiated at night at a different frequency. Second that certain ‘greenhouse gases’ posses a mystical ability to somehow capture this energy and warm the planet.
Recent research has proposed that the very core of the Earth is a single iron crystal forced by heat and pressure to its maximum density and currently at 11,000 degrees Fahrenheit. This core is surrounded by molten rock ‘mantle’ which extends up to our solid crust. The interface of mantle and crust varies from less than one mile under the ocean and up to 20 miles thick below the continents. The heat that melts this rock comes from the nuclear decay of heavy elements under tremendous heat and pressure. This ambient energy is not constant or uniformly distributed. After four billion years the core has long ago reached it’s maximum density and it’s maximum heat storage. Therefore all of the heat produced in the mantle must flow to the surface. The vast majority of this heat is rapidly absorbed thru ocean currents and not readily detected. The balance is radiated thru the landmass. This is the wrongly assumed ‘phase shifted’ energy that appears in the AGW math model. This is in fact the ambient radiated world energy but is masked during the day by the suns broad spectrum of radiation.
The belief that certain gases are able to then capture a disproportionate amount of this radiant energy is indefensible. Knowledge of heat storage and heat transfer properties was essential to modern civilization. Specific heat is a coefficient that allows precise calculation of the way energy behaves in different media. The specific heat for standard air is 1.00 and 0.84 for carbon dioxide. The adjustment for this minor difference in the parts per million of change that is proposed under the AGW mandates cannot even be measured. Atmospheric carbon dioxide comes overwhelmingly from geologic sources and is in direct correlation with geologic heat production.
Greenhouse gas is an intentionally deceptive phrase. The mental image is of a consistently warmer artificial environment. Carbon dioxide’s role in not measurable as mentioned above, but by far the greatest of greenhouse gases is water vapor. This vapor forms into clouds and can certainly hold heat on the Earth’s surface at night. However this same vapor can block out the sun, reflecting that heat back into space. Then this vapor can rise into the stratosphere and dump tons of cooling rain, hail, sleet or snow. Sorry climatists, this in not greenhouse like behavior.
The 2005 KamLAND Laboratory measurements have caused a tenfold increase in the estimated geo-nuclear energy. As more data is collected it is highly possible that the missing link in climate change could be discovered. Nuclear chain reactions can be affected by cosmic rays and neutrino particle collisions. Solar cycles produce changes in these emissions. It is possible that the Sun has greater impact on the Earth’s temperature by altering the internal geo-nuclear reactions than by direct surface action.
In large markets the local media tout the expertise of their PhD Staff Meteorologists.
The public is treated daily to the accuracy of this branch of science. Public trust is earned thru efficacy. If the political will is to change behavior then just be honest in motives and methods. Conserving energy should be implemented based on it own merits. Human caused global warming preys on our primordial fear of the products of combustion. We all have a visceral distaste for smokestacks and tailpipes. The AGW movement exploits this fear with a simplistic and false hypothesis. If the AGW movement prevails it will be the triumph of superstition over science.

However such activity is generally very slow but with occasional short term volcanic outbreaks. As a result I think it is not a significant contributor to climate variability on century timescales and possibly not even on millennium timescales.
It is true that the rate of energy flow from undersea activity is not adequately quantified and much undersea volcanic activity is likely to occur unnoticed. However I think that the observed global temperature variability recorded so far seems to be adequately explicable via the sun/ocean combination without needing to add this additional level of complexity.
