Classic stuff! Piers is a great speaker because he knows his facts and knows how to articulate his argument in a clear concise understandable way. The "classic mad scientist" image he portrays only adds to the credibility of his case. He should be on TV doing Magnus Pike type science programs. A great character!

It is always gratifying, as a sceptic, to hear good people like Piers Corbyn lay out the facts and challenge the alarmists to 'present their evidence'. Of course they never can, because there is none (given that models are not 'evidence' but mere propaganda tools that when manipulated can make any projection one tells them to).
Notice the usual response, the usual mantra - that the vast majority of scientists believe in CO2 induced climate change and those who disagree are a small number of 'mavericks'. It's the old 'consensus' argument. That's the best they can do!
Well, of COURSE there is a consensus within the UNIPCC regarding so-called AGW. That was the whole purpose of setting up the IPCC in the first place. There was a consensus amongst Nazi scientists in the 1930s and '40s that Jews were an inferior race. Consensus has nothing to do with science, it is purely political, by definition. A scientific hypothesis or theory is not strengthened to any degree by the number of people, scientists or otherwise, who blindly believe in it.
But like I said: that's the best they can do.
