Giant dinosaurs could have warmed the planet with their flatulence, say researchers.
British scientists have calculated the methane output of sauropods, including the species known as Brontosaurus.
By scaling up the digestive wind of cows, they estimate that the population of dinosaurs - as a whole - produced 520 million tonnes of gas annually.
They suggest the gas could have been a key factor in the warm climate 150 million years ago.

The Earth is warmed by the Sun and by Earth's variable fission elements. Uranium has a half-life of 3.8 billion years and 150 million years ago there was a fractionally larger amount of Uranium to provide slightly more fission heat. More importantly, the atompshere was TWICE as thick, allowing flying dinosaurs and Jurasic insects to have TWICE the wingspan of those in the current atmosphere. The added internal heat and the additional insulation of the thicker atmopshere held more of the Sun's heat....hence a warmer world.
This is ever more proof of BBC ignorance induced by thick green goggles and outcome based 'education'....and these idiots are 'teaching' the public ?
