Over time you will notice that the hot and cold spots on this map appear and disappear indicating subterrarean heat flux changes, and NOT surface heat flow migration. The Russian summer heat wave in 2008 and the 30's US dustbowl can be blamed on this same process. Massive nodes of fissionable material reach critical mass and have a fission flare, then cool as another node in another region lights off. We live on a nuclear popcorn popper.
