Close weather watchers will know that the ~18-21st June period was hard to do but WeatherAction update in the end gave farmers vital advice before Met Office could decide.
What happened was basically SLAT7a (issued 16 May) with the small amendment issued on 14-15th towards SLAT8. See current first point in http://www.weatheraction.com/displayarticle.asp?a=464&c=5
I also added a comment to the Daily Mail article proper:
This very wet June was predicted by us at WeatherAction in our forecasts issued mid May and end May and we also warned of specific periods when standard MetOffice / TV forecasts would seriously underestimate rain and wind - one of these warnings was when there was extensive flooding through England and Wales which had been under-warned by TV forecasts from a day or so ahead. Similar errors will be repeated later this month. There are also periods just after heavy rain when Met Office computer models assume incorrectly that the heavy rain will continue when in fact we have shortish very sharp bursts which come to an end. The reason for these errors in standard TV forecasts is that these extremes are driven by largely predictable solar activity & lunar effects. This is totally counter to their delusional CO2 warmist beliefs and no amount £millions more wasted on new computer systems will improve their forecasts one jot.
