Recently I was looking at some graphical temperature data from NASA. I was able to find a graph of United States temperature from 1880 up to 1999. I then went to the NASA GISS site and found the most recent plot of this data.

Many US state legislatures are beginning to mandate that various percentages of future electrical energy generated come from renewable energy sources.

We had to include this article by Jessica Marshall from ABC Science Online - Australia. Make of it what you will.....it does not say 100% certain humans are warming the poles, in fact it implies a warmer tidal flow.

There is growing consensus that temperatures on earth correlate to sunspot activity. What we're seeing from the sun implies not global warming but a global cooling that we haven't seen since the "Little Ice Age" three centuries ago. There is no proven correlation between temperatures on earth and carbon dioxide. The earth’s axis, the salinity of the Arctic Ocean and volcanoes all dramatically affect temperatures. But carbon dioxide? No way.
