Emissions not making rivers run dry
by Stewart Franks
IS the ongoing drought in the Murray-Darling Basin affected by climate change? The simple answer is that there is no evidence that CO2 has had any significant role. Like it or not, that is the science.

Dangerous human-caused warming can neither be demonstrated nor measured
by John Nicol
There is no evidence, neither empirical nor theoretical, that carbon dioxide emissions from industrial and other human activities can have any effect on global climate. In addition, the claims so often made that there is a consensus among climate scientists that global warming is the result of increased man-made emissions of CO2, has no basis in fact.

Green Zealots - a threat to us all
FROM Piers Corbyn, WeatherAction
The Kingsnorth power station judgement wherby criminal damage to energy infrastructure is legitimized in the name of campaigning against 'Climate Change' must be subject to Retrial or Appeal which can expose the falsity of the new Green religion on which the judgement relies.

Holding my nose to vote
by David McGruer
The kids are back in their government-run schools and a federal election is on the way. A reader of one of my columns might conclude my political convictions lie strongly with the Conservative Party but a more careful reading with a little second thought would reveal this is not so. I’d like to share why there is really no one for me to vote for and yet why I will still vote. This may resonate with a portion of the 40 per cent or so who don’t vote and some of those who do.

Space Scientists Study Sun's Effect on Temperatures in the Ionosphere
Two satellite instruments built by UT Dallas researchers for a NASA-funded mission are showing the impact of low solar activity on the Earth’s ionosphere.
The phenomenon, which occurs when there is a decrease in sunspots, leaves the upper atmosphere cooler. The effects are being documented by the Coupled Ion-Neutral Dynamics Investigation (CINDI) project.

Ten of the Best Climate Research Papers (Nine Peer-Reviewed): A Note from Cohenite
The accusation of a lack of peer review (PR) by those who mount arguments against anthropogenic global warming (AGW) is at the heart of the elitism, consensus and ad hominem approach used by many supporters of AGW.
It is a red herring. Science should be like the Law; transparent and universally accessible.

Breaking news: Kingsnorth Six found not guilty!
It's been a pretty unusual ten days but today has been truly extraordinary. At 3.20pm, the jury came back into court and announced a majority verdict of not guilty! All six defendants - Kevin, Emily, Tim, Will, Ben and Huw - were acquitted of criminal damage. What Next!!!!!
Updated with letter to NASA!!!!!!!
To recap on how important this verdict is: the defendants campaigners were accused of causing £30,000 of criminal damage to Kingsnorth smokestack from painting. The defence was that they had 'lawful excuse' - because they were acting to protect property around the world "in immediate need of protection" from the impacts of climate change, caused in part by burning coal.

“The Green Paper? Almost Legless.”
A statement by Viv Forbes, Chairman of the Carbon Sense Coalition.
The Carbon Sense Coalition today claimed that Penny Wong’s Green Paper on the Carbon Reduction Scheme had been overtaken by scientific and political developments and was now almost legless.
The Chairman of “Carbon Sense” Mr Viv Forbes said that of the three pillars of the government’s climate change policy, only one was sensible - “Adapting to Climate change that we cannot avoid”.

Emissions trading scheme futile
by Bob Carter
NATURAL climate changes include warmings, coolings and more abrupt steps represented by the Great Pacific Climate Shift in 1977.
Meanwhile, lurking in the background lies the threat of visitation of another Little Ice Age.
The Rudd Government's emissions trading policy deals only with the threat of presumed human-caused warming, and ignores the other all-too-real climate threats. The Government's intended emissions trading scheme, therefore, does not represent proper climate policy but rather constitutes a human global warming policy - which is an entirely different, and speculative, matter.
