I’m writing this on Earth Day, favorite annual event of the “Alarmist” crowd, who engage in all manner of CO-2 silliness to mark the occasion.
The highlight this year has to be a new “Huffinton Post” contribution from that eminent climate scientist, Ted Danson, who, when not presumably spending time with the like-minded Dr. Hansen at NASA, or the tainted e.mail buddies at the East Anglia Center for Climate Studies, is a movie actor. His premise is that we all need to stop eating meat and farm-raised fish, because the production of these delicious proteins generates a gazillion tons of dreaded CO-2 per year, accelerating the climatic armageddon which has been promised for so long but which our planet, despite the best efforts of financially-interested alarmsit “experts”, stubbornly refuses to deliver.
Danson thinks we should all eat “Wild ocean fish”. The queston of how the ships get out to the remote fishing grounds, how they refrigerate the fish, and how much CO-2 that all creates, is left unanswered. Last time I checked, North Atlantic salmon cost at least twice as much as farm-raised, but I assume Danson is well off thanks to his day job.
