Nobody disagrees that climate change is happening, echoes writer and legal analyst John O'Sullivan.

"The climate has changed for 4.5 billion years," O'Sullivan said. "We are not arguing about something trivial like the issues of climate change. We are looking at corruption issues here that are not made known to the public. Today in parliament we put evidence to parliamentarians to show that around the world climate skeptics are bringing into court national government weather agencies and showing that they do not have a bona fide climate record."

"What we've tried to do is ask the governments around the world to show us the evidence," he added. "It's not good enough to tell us that they have the records. We have found time after time here in England and recently in New Zealand that when challenged, government agencies cannot produce the records."

I met up with a campaign organiser at the "Climate Fools Day" Meeting who's interest is to "Repeal The Act", the very act that our meeting at the Houses of Parliament was about.

A few months ago Piers and I had a challenge, the problem was "how do we fund and support the next "Climate Fools Day". The first CFD in 2009, was at Imperial Collage London at a tune of something like £1,500, but money was not the issue at the time.

The real issue for CFD2009 was how could we, a bunch of "deniers", get our foot in the door of that particular establishment. Our trump card for that meeting was one of those "it's not what you know, it's who you know" things, and the Associate President Physicist, John Sanderson of the Royal College Of Science was key for that event to take place. John has been a supporter WeatherAction.com for many years, and the college found it difficult to close any doors on the "Deniers" when faced with an Associate President calling the tune, hey presto, CFD2009 got off the ground.

For CFD 2010 it was a completely different story, although we had John Sanderson, we had no spare funds available, and any doors that were there to be opened had to be paid for with hard cash, in spite of people and media perception of "deniers", they are NOT funded by oil companies, the cupboards ARE bare.

Those of us who "network" will recognise the "it's not what you know, it's who you know" method, and it came up trumps again for the second time in two years. In attendance at CFD2009 was Sammy Wilson, at that time the Environment minister for Northern Ireland. Sammy was and is, a brilliant "talking head", he can lift an audience within a few sentences and his knowledge of our side of the argument is on a par with the best. The acquaintance we made with Sammy last year is the very reason why CFD2010 took place, without him there would have been nothing doing.

Global warming skeptics have gathered to air their views in the UK on what they have dubbed 'Climate Fools Day'.

It is also the second anniversary of the signing of the UK Climate Change Bill, which critics say is simply a waste of tax-payers' money.

The skeptics claim that the global warming issue has become a business scheme to tax industry and consumers, and make money from ‘green’ schemes.

Global warming has simply been made up, insists Piers Corbyn, one of the organizers of the annual Weather Action Climate Fools Day conference.

“There’s no evidence for carbon-dioxide driving temperatures or climate whatsoever in the last thousand years,” he told RT.

Corbyn claims that the fight against global warming is a myth, supported by government imposed policy all over Europe. “We’ve got basically a one-party state operating which is imposing taxes and restrictions on production of carbon-dioxide,” he said.

“If these politicians really cared about people, they would actually make use of effective long-range forecasts which can forecast hazards and even very damaging incidents which can cause deaths,” added Corbyn.

The 2008 Climate Change Act commits Britain to cutting its CO2 emissions by 80 percent by 2050 at a cost of £18.3 billion every year for the next four decades (according to the Department for Energy and Climate Change website).

This is being funded by top slicing the cash from your energy bills. The figure does not include other costs, such as the losses incurred due to the economic damage and opportunity costs of these measures. And obviously the law only seeks only to address CO2 emissions from the UK.

Without pausing to question how that 80 percent target is to be attained short of closing down the entire economy I’d just like to demonstrate the sheer scale of the cost of this bill with a little help from my beautiful assistant, H.R.H. Climate sceptics, including a number of high profileTory backbenchers, are launching a campaign to overturn the Coalition’s green targets.

Climate Sense, a loose affiliation of ‘climate sceptic groups’, are calling for the Climate Act, that commits the UK to cutting greenhouse gases by 80 per cent by 2050 to be repealed.

Philip Foster, a retired Church of England Reverend who is leading the campaign, said the legislation will cost taxpayers £480bn over the next 40 years because of the cost of new technologies like wind farms.

He said Tory backbenchers John Redwood, David Davies and Christopher Chope have agreed to attend the launch of ‘Climate Fools Day’ in the House of Commons. Labour MP Graham Stringer, who is a member of the Science and Technology Committee, also supports the campaign. Johnny Ball the television presenter is expected to attend the launch.

“There is no evidence that human input has anything to do with global temperatures,” Rev Foster said. “Therefore we should not be wasting any money on climate change through things like this legislation.”

The group, made up of Copenhagen Climate Challenge, Weather Action and the Campaign Against Carbon Capitalism, have also written a letter to the Prince of Wales on behalf of climate sceptics. It asks the Prince, who has accused sceptics of “peddling pseudo science”, to prove climate change is happening and is signed by 166 scientists including David Bellamy.
