WeatherAction, long range forecasters issued a public ‘Swine Flu Watch’ in their latest forecast viawww.weatheraction.com
which warns “Although there will be some fine spells mainly in the South this May; many parts especially Scotland, North England, the Midlands & north Ireland will be often wet or very wet & cool which are more dangerous conditions for spread of flu virus than a fine May.”
Piers Corbyn, astrophysicist of WeatherAction long-range weather & climate forecasters said “Irrespective of how dangerous the virus actually is the assumption that much of the UK, Ireland – and indeed much of the USA – can rely on fine Spring weather this May to limit its spread is unsafe. We are 90% confident that this May will be often wet & cold which will make the fight more difficult than in an average May.”
