Several document's events have occurred in the last few days that would obligate reasonable people to rethink their position on global warming and the cause.
These facts are:
1) 20-YEAR STUDY YIELDS PRECISE MODEL OF TECTONIC-PLATE MOVEMENTS
Wisconsin-Madison geophysicist Chuck DeMets, Richard Gordon of Rice University and Donald Argus of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory have created a model that offers a precise description of the relative movements of 25 interlocking tectonic plates that account for 97 percent of the Earth's surface. The model is based on 20 years of observation.
The proposition that global warming is a result of magnetic pole shift is proposed.
2) Greenland ice sheet losing mass on northwest coast
Denmark Technical Institute's National Space Institute in Copenhagen and involving the University of Colorado at Boulder study indicates the ice-loss acceleration began moving up the northwest coast of Greenland starting in late 2005.
The evidence is data from NASA's Gravity and Recovery Climate Experiment satellite system, or GRACE, with continuous GPS measurements made from long-term sites on bedrock on the edges of the ice sheet.
None of these events produce documented evidence that global warming is not at least in some part manmade.
3) Dr. John Christy a reknowned "No global warming" scientist from Huntsville Alabama has revised his temperature data. The average temperatures previously reported have increased. There was no furor over this change. The reasoning Christy proposes is just shilly shally.
4) One of President Obama's next legislative hurdles is the carbon cap and trade plan. As soon as businesses realize they can get a benefit from the taxpayer for becoming "global warming alarmists" they will all join up.
Its all about money.
