Met Office chief Science Officer Julia Slingo talks about 'dangerous' climate change & extreme weather and climate modelling resolutions. She still mentions co2 reduction as if it controls our climate and that is after her Met Office have now divulged that we have had 16 years with NO world temperature increase with also 16 years of extra co2 put into the Earth's atmosphere...

Watch Now: Climate Depot's Morano on Fox News on World Economic Forum $14 Trillion Climate Plan: 'It implies that if we spend $14 trillion we can prevent another storm like Sandy'
Morano: 'With Obama now invoking God, this report is a serious threat...Governments cannot control weather and climate...but the report implies we can control the weather. At the same time it wants to control the economy. It's as though the World Economic Forum report looked at Obama's green stimulus and instead of seeing a fiasco -- which it was -- they looked at it and said wow, how can we expand this globally'
In four years time the world will be COOLER, and who knows what else. One thing is for certain, in four years time Barack Obama will NOT be putting forward or supporting methods to prevent warming from "man made" CO2, that idea will have come to an end.
What has gone before us in the name of "climate science" will mean nothing, all we can hope is that "climate science" will change for the better and those who hold the keys for planning the Earths future will have a better understanding of how the Sun controls our world.......GR
One of the world's most famous climate sceptics, Lord Christopher Monckton, joins Gary Hardgrave in studio to respond to recent claims by Australia's Chief Climate Commissioner Tim Flannery that the country's climate is on steroids.
Lord Monckton estimates that it is around 36 times more expensive to try and eradicate global warming via a carbon tax, than to simply sit back, let nature take its course and then pay the cost of adapting to a few adverse consequences of what little warming may occur.
NASA ImageLaboratory on another world: This schematic shows the range of instruments Curiosity uses on its mission
#Rover team make finding with instrument designed to identity signs of life
#'Earthshaking' discovery will be fully announced early next month
Nasa's Mars Curiosity rover has reportedly made a major discovery on the Red Planet - but scientists are keeping quiet about what it is.
The finding was made by the six-wheeled rover's Sample Analysis at Mars (SAM) instrument in the Rocknest area of the Gale Crate, close to where the rover touched down. SAM is Curiosity's on-board chemistry lab and is able to take a sample of Martian rock, soil or air and find out what it is made of.
Except scientists are refusing to reveal its latest finding, merely saying that it is earthshaking. 'This data is gonna be one for the history books. It's looking really good,' said John Grotzinger, chief scientist in the Curiosity team, in an interview with NPR.
Mr Grotzinger would not be drawn on what the discovery actually was. He told NPR that his team won't be ready to talk about the discovery for several weeks. Most importantly, it is capable of identifying organic compounds - carbon containing substances that could indicate life.

A Russian floating oil rig in the Arctic has been ambushed - by a group of Greenpeace activists. Six men scaled the platform and are currently dangling off the side, suspended by cables, in protest against energy giant Gazprom's plans to drill in the area. Let's now talk to Piers Corbyn, the director of WeatherAction.com
Washington, D.C. – On Fox News this morning, Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.), Ranking Member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, exposed that the Obama administration has failed to comply with the law requiring them to publish in the Federal Register their regulatory agendas. Inhofe, a guest on Fox and Friends, revealed that it has been more than a year since the administration complied with its legal obligation to issue such a report every 6 months. Senator Inhofe announced he has sent a letter to President Obama requesting the administration adhere to its next statutory deadline. As the ranking member of the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, Inhofe expressed specific concerns about EPA’s regulatory agenda.
“As he works to preserve his own job, President Obama is covering up his administration’s job-killing regulatory agenda that he will unleash in a second term,” Senator Inhofe said. “The reason is simple: President Obama has spent the past four years working to kill American energy production of oil, gas, and coal. Today however, President Obama is running as fast as he can from his green energy agenda and trying to convince voters of his love of fossil fuels. Yet a look at the past four years, as well as what he has in the works at the Obama-EPA, reveals a very different story. The last thing President Obama wants to admit to is that his administration is currently actively working to regulate traditional energy resources out of existence. As bad as the economy has sputtered in Obama’s first four years, you haven’t seen anything yet.
